Gilbert R. Trout joined the Trout companies in 2005. Gil is actively involved in numerous capacities, including managing retail and office space, development of large retail and big-box properties, and brokerage of retail, land, and office space.
Gil brings his years of experience in technology to TD&A, and has worked to raise the technological infrastructure of TD&A through development of Web and mobile applications custom designed for the TD&A sales team. Gil has a long-standing interest in strategic business applications of IT and the integration of security and surveillance systems with property management. He also is also director of the marketing team and is in charge of all the technology at the company. Gil is a licensed real estate agent in Maryland.
Originally from Boston, Gil interests range from real estate, to music, to technology. In music, Gil has conducted and performed with orchestras worldwide, received commissions, awards, and performances of his compositions in America, Europe and Asia.
Gil has developed and taught educational multimedia for Harvard University and Tufts University; worked for Perot Systems, an international technology-based provider of business-to-business solutions; and created dynamic document delivery tools for the electronic publishing division of publisher Houton Mifflin.
Gil received his Bachelor's degree from Indiana University and, following three years of work in Athens, Greece, he received his Master's Degree from Tufts University. Gil lives with his family in Baltimore City, and is active in several local communal organizations. Gil is a licensed EMT with the state of Maryland and enjoys riding along with Baltimore City Medic 17 out of Cold Spring Lane and Park Heights. |
