Robert L. Quarles, Jr. is a veteran commercial real estate executive with more than two decades of experience including 19 years at The Rouse Company and 6 years at Westfield Corporation, two national mall operators and real estate development companies. Bob specializes in leasing and commercial real estate services for retail food operators. While at The Rouse Company, Bob performed dual functions of retail leasing, as well as arranging bank and public financing for small retail operators in different states throughout the country.
Prior to joining The Rouse Company, Bob handled business policy and advocacy work for The Greater Baltimore Committee. He also directed a business assistance center on the campus of Coppin State University, while teaching several businesses courses at the school.
As a Senior Associate with Trout Daniel and Associates, Bob works in all aspects of retail and commercial brokerage, as well as land and mixed use development projects.
Bob received a B.S. from Morgan State University and an M.B.A from The University of Chicago. He has served on the boards of Mercy Medical Center, Catholic Relief Services, The Archdiocese of Baltimore and Maryland Art Place. In his spare time he enjoys playing golf and bridge.
