USGC, Inc., which provides IT, cybersecurity, and other professional and technical services to the Federal
government, has signed a lease for 3,232 square feet at 16901 Melford Blvd, also known as Melford Plaza II, in the
Maryland Science & Technology Center business community in Bowie, MD.
Trout Daniel Associate Matthew S. Melnick represented USGC, Inc. Sean Doordan represented his firm, the
landlord, St. John Properties, Inc. USGC will occupy the space on or before November 1, 2010.
USGC wanted "an office convenient to Washington, DC, Fort Meade, Maryland and BWI airport," said Jack Savage,
President of USGC, adding that Melford Plaza II offered "affordable Class A space, with almost limitless expansion
capability."
Maryland Science & Technology Center is a 466-acre mixed-use business community located adjacent to Route 50 and
Route 301 in Bowie. Built in 2009, the LEED Silver-certified Melford Plaza II comprises 150,000 square feet of Class
"A" office space over four stories.
