Landmark Resort Shopping Center is Now Over 85% Leased
Dollar Tree, Bodacious Buckets, Peninsula Rehab and Sports Medicine and Trible’s Appliance Parts Have All Signed Lease Agreements
Trout Daniel & Associates, a full-service commercial real estate company, today announced the addition of four new tenants for Montego Bay Shopping Center at 128th Street and Coastal Highway in north Ocean City, Maryland. Trout Daniel & Associates handles all leasing services for the center and began implementing a strategic merchandising plan last fall with the goal of adding several dynamic new tenants at the center.
Trout Daniel & Associates worked with their network of national, regional and local retailers to attract tenants to the 70,000-square-foot shopping center, which is anchored by the Montego Bay Super Thrift and the Montego Bay True Value.
The four new businesses that have opened or will be opening at Montego Bay, include:
Dollar Tree will occupy 9,500 square feet when it opens in late May or early June 2010.
Dollar Tree is a customer-oriented, value-driven variety store operating at a one dollar price point.
Trible’s Appliance Parts previously occupied 5,100 square feet at Montego Bay, but will now take over a larger space of 7,650 square feet. Trible’s opened the new, completely remodeled store in April 2010. Trible’s sells appliance parts and supplies as well as heating and air conditioning equipment parts and supplies to wholesale and retail customers.
Peninsula Rehab and Sports Medicine will occupy 1,200 square feet and opened on April 1, 2010. The new facility offers physical rehabilitation, physical therapy and sports medicine services.
Bodacious Buckets will occupy 1,200 square feet and is a new business that will serve classic frozen custard and other frozen desserts in special beach themed buckets. Bodacious Buckets is set to open at the start of the 2010 summer season.

Montego Bay features three established local restaurants including, Higgins Crab House, Duffy’s Tavern and Tequila Mockingbird. Farmers Bank of Willard occupies a prominent outparcel.
